Onam celebrations was conducted on August 28, 2009
63 rd Independance Day Celebrated with many programs. Flag was hoisted by Principal.
He delivered the Independence Day Message.
A colourful procession was arranged. 2300 students participated in the rally which longed more than one kilometer.
PTA, NCC, Scout, Guides, NSS, Children dressed as leaders of freedom movement, various states, cultures etc accompanied the procession. Members of local body were also present. All were singing patriotic songs. Attractive stage programmes and distribution of ‘payasam” were also the notable events.
The neighbours and wellwishers cordially received the programme.
A poster competition was held in the school in connection with Hiroshima day. 55 group participated in the program annoncing the anti war slogans. The poters are exibited in front of the school
Hiroshima day was observed in the school on August 6. A special assembly was held. After that a rally was organized by the Social science Club, Scout & Guides and NCC unit.
English Club was inaugurated on 10th July. As part of the club activities it is decided to publish a manuscript magazine.
